Paradoks dalam Pemikiran Desain Arsitektur Bjarke Ingels

Bjarke Ingels merupakan seorang arsitek Denmark yang memandang bahwa hal-hal yang seolah bertentangan sebenarnya bisa disatukan. Ingels bisa merespon isu keberlanjutan dengan menjadikan alam sebagai pengaruh atas konsep desain secara visual yang unik, menarik, dan bisa menjadi bagian gaya hidup masa kini. Dengan pendekatan arsitektur puitis, dikaji saluran kreativitas berupa paradoks, yaitu menyatukan hal-hal yang seolah bertentangan, pada beberapa rancangan Bjarke Ingels yaitu Lego House, 8 House, dan Mountain Dwellings. Ditemukan diketahui bahwa cara berpikir paradoks dapat menghasilkan suatu dunia arsitektur impian yang bisa direalisasikan (Pragmatic Utopian). Dengan berpikir paradoks, Ingels memandang arsitektur sebagai sarana untuk menciptakan dunia impian (worldcraft).
