Abstract

ABSTRACT
The Creative Hub designed using a biophilic architectural approach in Luwu Regency addresses the urgent need for collaborative spaces to support the local creative economy. The project responds to the lack of adequate infrastructure for education, production, and cultural interaction, especially for small businesses and creative communities. The selected site, strategically located in Belopa, allows optimal integration with existing urban functions. The design methodology integrates spatial analysis, community participation, and biophilic principles, resulting in a concept that emphasizes natural light, ventilation, greenery, and cultural identity. Key facilities include co-working spaces, art galleries, an amphitheater, workshops, and educational gardens, distributed across clearly defined functional zones. The massing adopts organic forms that reflect the region’s topography and support sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting and green roofs. Results show that the biophilic Creative Hub enhances user well-being, fosters creativity, and promotes social inclusion. It serves not only as a physical platform for artistic and entrepreneurial development but also as an ecological and cultural landmark that strengthens the regional identity of Luwu. The design offers a replicable model for integrating sustainability, cultural heritage, and community engagement into creative infrastructure planning.
