The Production Of Space (1974) adalah buku mahakarya Henri Lefebvre, sosiolog dan filsuf Perancis terkemuka. Merupakan buku paling berpengaruh dalam teori urban yang membahas konsep ruang dan permasalahan ruang dalam masyarakat urban. Meski berlatar belakang sosiologi, Lefebvre membahas secara langsung maupun tidak langsung bidang ilmu lainnya, sehingga teori The Production of Space kemudian banyak dipakai sebagai dasar dalam analisa fenomena ruang perkotaan maupun isu sosial permasalahan masyarakat urban. Tulisan ilmiah ini adalah penafsiran penulis atas beberapa jurnal dari bidang ilmu berbeda sebagai kasus studi dalam memahami konsep dan teori The Production of Space.
